Term 1 2022!
Students will learn to use the software “Gamefroot” which is an NZ startup focussed on creating excellent and inspiring Game Development education solutions for New Zealand young people. Gamefroot runs after-school GDC programmes in multiple centres around NZ which have seen massive popularity and students coming back term after term.
In Term 1 2022, we are running with a Hybrid approach utilising Zoom to create a learning environment to enable those who are self-isolating to still join in from home. All you need is Laptop and an internet connection.
Creative Trust & LOOP are proud to be partnering together to bring this awesome initiative to Canterbury! Get amongst it this term as we see the unique creativity of Canterbury young people come through in awesome, custom video games!
Ideal for ages 10-14, with an experienced tutor who will ensure each group member is kept up to speed with this comprehensive tool, while those abounding with ideas will have the freedom to express them.
GameDevClub will be running every Monday in Term 1 starting Tuesday Week 3 (22nd February), for 8 weeks at LOOP Youth Centre, 1a Harewood Rd Papanui.
